  • Magic Maker's Award, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Beaver County, 2013 (for helping to develop a cooperative program with human service class that facilitates events for children on the waiting list for matches)

Academic Distinctives

In 2022, Stephanie Schindel worked in collaboration with Dr. Mildred Johnson to develop and host a workshop entitled, "Promoting Effective Partnerships Between Social Service and Criminal Justice Agencies," to members of the Beaver County Community and Law Enforcement Coalition, Beaver County's law enforcement community, and Beaver County social service agencies. 

Stephanie Schindel won Geneva College's Excellence in Teaching Award for the 2010 academic year.
