Students who don’t wish to specialize in any particular field can choose to complete the traditional MBA offered by Geneva College. The traditional MBA program seeks to provide students with a solid foundation in business principles by featuring a combination of courses from the three concentration disciplines. Through courses in finance, management, marketing, human resources, business policy, and biblical management and ethics, Geneva prepares men and women to be business leaders rooted in a faith background.

Program Requirements

All students in Geneva’s Master of Business Administration program must complete the following core MBA courses:

BUS 605 Corporate Finance

BUS 610 Financial Management

BUS 615 Financial and Managerial Accounting

BUS 620 Management Thought and Application

BUS 630 Management Information Systems/Decision Support Systems

BUS 640 Marketing Management

BUS 650 Human Resource Systems/Organizational Behavior

BUS 660 Biblical Management and Ethics

BUS 670 Managerial Economics

BUS 690 Strategic Business Policy

 

In addition to the core MBA courses, students in the Traditional MBA program must also complete any two electives from the following:

BUS 611 Investment Theory & Applications

BUS 616 Valuation & Corporate Investments

BUS 641 Buyer Behavior

BUS 645 Advanced Marketing

BUS 680 Research Methodology

BUS 681 Project Management

BUS 685 Operations Management I
