Beaver Falls, PA - It′s been a long time in coming, but Geneva′s offense took out its frustrations against Taylor University on Saturday. The Golden Tornadoes racked up 340 yards of total offense on their way to a 36-6 victory over Taylor University. With the victory, Geneva evened its overall record at 3-3, while moving its record in the MSFA Mideast League to 1-2. Meanwhile, Taylor fell to 1-6 overall and 0-4 in the conference.

Geneva took a while to get its offense going, but did open the scoring on a 28-yard field goal capping a nine play drive in the first quarter. The Golden Tornadoes took complete control of the game with 21 second quarter points. Javon Moody scored on runs of four and seven yards to open Geneva′s lead to 17-0. The Golden Tornadoes went to the locker room after Justin Sciarro found Luke Duriancik for a 31 yard touchdown on the final play of the half.

The defensive highlight for Geneva came when Dan Terracciano ran back an interception 95 yards for a score to extend the lead. After Taylor got its only score of the game, Michael Cobb caught a 47-yard Sciarro pass to close out the scoring.
