To help make the cost of a Christian education more affordable for individuals and to help churches support their college-bound members, Geneva College is starting a new Church Matching Scholarship Program. Through this new program, Geneva College will match the scholarship(s) which a church gives to its member(s) dollar for dollar up to a maximum of $500 per student per academic year.

“This is an opportunity for churches to set aside a portion of their budget for Christian education,” says Louise Copeland, director of parent and church relations at Geneva College. “This is also a great way for churches to stay involved in the lives of their college students, and show them that they are cared for and loved.”

The program applies to full-time, traditional undergraduate students only and is not open to employees or dependents of Geneva College. Students may use the program in conjunction with other scholarships as long as tuition is not exceeded.  Scholarships must be direct gifts from a church, and Geneva College endowments do not apply.
