Latrobe, PA - It was the same conditions for all of the runners but that didn′t make it any more pleasant as the Golden Tornadoes traveled to Latrobe for the Saint Vincent Invitational. Geneva′s men posted a sixth place finish with 162 total points while the women′s team tied for fourth with 135 points.

On the men′s side, Nick Edinger crossed the line in 26th position with a time of 27:57. Teammate Ryan Thorn finished 30th overall in 28:02. Other solid performances were turned in by Owen Struck (33rd) and Josh Gunnett (62nd).

Samantha Miller turned in a solid performance for the Geneva women with a 21st place spot in a final time of 21:03. Teammate Shannon Rech crossed the line as Geneva's top finisher in 10th position with a career best time of 20:19. Julia Urbanski crossed the line with a time of 21:29, which was good enough for 31st position. Emily Hoobler (36) and Sarah Davis (42) also broke the top 50.

The Golden Tornadoes will head to another meet next Saturday at Pitt-Greensburg.
