access.jpgOn Friday, September 18, Geneva College′s Academic Counseling Center and Educational Support Services (ACCESS) office will hold an interactive workshop on organization and time management. Students, faculty and staff are invited to Northwood Room 013 between 10:10 - 11:05 a.m. to enjoy refreshments and gain information on how to manage daily tasks efficiently. Kris Monaco, the ACCESS grad assistant, will lead this 50-minute discussion geared toward students interested in improving their study habits.

The ACCESS office began the week with a fair on September 14 to provide awareness of the support staff available students on campus. In addition to snacks and prizes, students and staff received an abundance of information regarding the programs ACCESS offers. Program information was provided to students regarding tutoring, study skills workshops, time management and disabilities services.

ACCESS is available to all students who desire support in achieving their educational goals. Services include peer tutoring, academic counseling and disability services. If you would like more information on the ACCESS office, please call Director Nancy Smith at 724-847-5566. You can also visit the ACCESS office, located on the lower level of McKee Hall, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 4:30p.m.
