Josh Mann named National Player of the Week by NCCAA.Beaver Falls, PA – The Geneva men′s soccer team is playing is best soccer of the season. The Golden Tornadoes have won five straight including a perfect 3-0 record last week. Sophomore forward Josh Mann has led the offensive charge with a team best eight goals on the season. He found the net three times last week and for his efforts was named the NCCAA national co-player of the week.

The Golden Tornadoes are 11-4 on the season and are just one win shy of matching the season win total of 12 that was reached in each of the past two years. Mann helped the Golden Tornadoes last week with a pair of solid efforts. The week opened with a 2-1 victory over Washington & Jefferson with Mann finding the net to open the scoring for Geneva. Last Friday night, the sophomore scored a pair of goals in Geneva′s 3-2 victory over Westminster. Geneva also defeated Pitt-Greensburg one day later by the count of 4-2 to extend its current winning streak to five games.

The Golden Tornadoes will look for victory number 12 on the season on Saturday afternoon in Latrobe when they face Saint Vincent College.
