Anjelica March, softball player at Geneva College, will be one of the ball girls for the Pittsburgh Pirates this summer.Beaver Falls, PA – The Geneva College softball season is set to begin next week in Florida while the major league baseball spring training camps are in full swing. When the Pittsburgh Pirates open the 2010 campaign at PNC Park, the two will come together as junior outfielder Anjelica Marsh (Beaver Falls, PA) will be handling one of the foul lines as a newly hired ball girl.

The Pirates organized an open search for local college softball players interested in spending their summer at PNC Park. A total of ten ladies were chosen for the upcoming season with Marsh getting the opportunity to represent Geneva College at the big league level.

Marsh and her Geneva teammates will turn their attention to the 2010 softball season when they arrive in Florida this weekend. When opening day comes around, she will be doing double duty for the Golden Tornadoes and for the Pirates.

Marsh is a graduate of Beaver Falls High School and has been a member of the Geneva College softball team for the past three years. She is projected to begin her junior season as Geneva′s starting left fielder when the Golden Tornadoes open play against Mt. St. Joseph next Monday afternoon.
