Beaver Falls, PA - It didn′t take long for Todd Beall to make an indelible mark on the men′s soccer program at Geneva College. He will now look to make a similar impact as he returns to his alma mater of Cedarville University to take over as the head coach for the men′s program.

In 2006 Beall′s first year at the helm on College Hill saw the Golden Tornadoes post only three victories. Since that initial season, Beall has guided Geneva to 39 victories including three consecutive trips to the NCCAA regional play-offs. In four years at Geneva, Beall compiled an overall record of 42-29-3.

Following the retirement of long time Cedarville coach Ben Belleman, who guided the Yellowjackets to over 100 victories, Beall saw an opportunity to return to his playing roots. "This is an incredible opportunity for me and my family," said Beall. "Having to leave Geneva was one of the most difficult decisions I have ever made and it would have never happened unless it was the perfect fit." A four-year starter for the Yellowjackets, Beall was also a two-year captain at Cedarville. He claimed NCCAA first team all-regional honors during his playing days.

"We are very happy for Todd to be given this opportunity," said Geneva College athletic director Dr. Kim Gall. "He has done an outstanding job for our men′s soccer program and we wish him nothing but the best for the future." Gall will now turn her sights on Geneva′s next head coach for the 2010 season. "We have already begun an active search for our next men′s soccer coach. Coach Beall has left the program in great condition and we look forward to bringing the best possible candidate into our department and hit the ground running."
