Beaver Falls, PA - Each month the Presidents′ Athletic Conference and the SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee) selects a male and female student-athlete as its scholar-athletes of the month. Geneva College was in the spotlight for April as senior setter Brandi Snavely (Columbiana, OH) was selected as the female representative.

Snavely is certainly a well-deserved recipient following a tremendous volleyball career at Geneva College. In the 2008 and 2009 seasons, she ranked first in the PAC in assists per set and in 2009, ranked second in assists in the NCCAA (National Christian College Athletic Association). Snavely′s effort has earned her PAC Coaches Honors (an all-conference award equivalent for provisional member schools) and a scholar-athlete award by the NCCAA.

Off the court, Snavely is a history/secondary education major with a 3.84 GPA. Additionally, she is a Geneva tutor in science, a two-year resident assistant and participates in the church orchestra.

"Brandi has been a tremendous example of a student-athlete throughout her entire career," said co-head volleyball coach Wendy Smith. "She works hard on and off the court and has a true passion for the game, for her teammates and for Geneva College. We are very proud of her accomplishments."

Geneva College is a comprehensive Christian college of the arts, sciences and professional studies.
