Frostburg, MD - The undefeated run for the Geneva College volleyball team came to a close on Saturday evening with a 3-0 loss to Frostburg State in the tournament championship in Frostburg, Md by scores of 25-23, 25-19, 25-22. The day started much better for the Golden Tornadoes when they moved to 8-0 with a pool victory against Susquehanna 3-0 by scores of 25-22, 25-22, 25-21. The doubleheader split moved the overall record for Geneva to 8-1.

In the win over Susquehanna, Adriane Blake had a team best 14 kills and 24 digs. Blake was rewarded with an All-Tournament selection along with teammate Brianna Mixter. Mixter finished the first match with 37 assists and 22 digs. Maggie Bowersox had nine kills in the victory over Susquehanna.

In the finals, Blake had ten kills and Mixter finished with 25 assists and 11 digs. The Golden Tornadoes host Westminster College on Wednesday evening back at Metheny Fieldhouse before traveling to Bethany to face the Bison and Grove City next Saturday.
