Sha Wang LuangkesornDr. Sha Wang Luangkesorn, assistant professor of music at Geneva College, will give a faculty recital on Saturday, September 4 at 4 p.m. The performance will be in the John H. White Chapel in the Old Main building on Geneva′s campus, and is free and open to the public.

In celebration of German composer Robert Schumann′s bicentennial, Dr. Luangkesorn will perform Schumann′s solo piano work Carnaval, Op. 9. Following this, Dr. Luangkesorn will be joined by guest cellist Adam Liu, associate principle cello from Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra for a performance of Brahms′s Cello Sonata No. 1.
