The Geneva College Alumni Council has a Student-Alumni Connection program to bring together students and Geneva alumni. By being a part of this program, Geneva students will have the opportunity to connect with alumni, listen to their past experience on campus and gain a new gateway to helpful resources. Also, alumni will have the chance to relive their time on campus through a current student′s perspective.

Another great aspect to this program is that the alumni and students will be matched based on mutual interests, major or hometown. Once the match has been made, the alumni member will receive the name and campus address of the student, as well as some basic guidelines and contact details. "This will be the third year we have connected Geneva Alumni with current Geneva students," says Wendy Allman, Alumni Association President. "Alumni can share their Geneva experience, offer encouragement and pray for the students while gaining a new perspective on college life through the student's experience."

Even though the students and alumni may come from different generations, Geneva students smile at the sight of a card in their campus mailbox. Other ways to communicate would be through a simple Facebook message, or by e-mail. Becky Phillips, Director of Constituent Relations says, "The time commitment is small but these relationships can be life-changing so your participation is encouraged."
