The sixth annual Percussion Ensemble Concert will be held in John White Chapel on Friday, April 15 at 7 p.m. The concert includes a selection of percussion music performed by the 14-member ensemble.

"The goal of our ensemble has always been to perform a wide variety of unique percussion music with excellence," said Director Dan Morrow. "And there are always a few surprises for the audience. When you come to see the Geneva College Percussion Ensemble, you can expect to be entertained."

The ensemble′s repertoire for the evening includes Viva la Vida, March for Percussion Sextet, Don't That Beat All, Suite for Solo Drum Set and Percussion Ensemble, and Hip Hop Chops.

Morrow also commented on the variety of ways they will be playing the instruments: "There′s even a piece that is played only with parts of our bodies."

Members of the ensemble are Annie Howe, Christine Hohenberger, Craig Bennett, Darius Whittington, Jakayla Anderson, John Drzik, Kyle Young, Liz Bertovich, Matt Neal, Matt Purnell, Riane Winslow, Scott Tousignant, Thomas Baker and Tyler Miller.
