Latrobe, PA - On what turned out to be a perfect day for a cross country meet, the Geneva College men and women competed against some very solid competition in Latrobe at Saint Vincent College. The Bearcat men, who may just be the favorite to capture the PAC crown next month, took first place at their own meet while the women from California University of Pennsylvania took home the top prize.

In men′s action, junior Nick Edinger continued his tremendous season with a second place overall finish to help lead the Golden Tornadoes to a third place finish. On the women′s side, freshman Heidi Steiner was again solid with a 12th place finish to lead the Geneva women to a fourth place spot as a team.

The Golden Tornadoes will be back in action on October 8th when they travel to Pittsburgh for the Carnegie Mellon Invitational. Geneva continues its preparations for its first official PAC meet coming up on October 29th at Westminster College.
