Casting Crowns at Consol Energy Center on March 31, 2012

Geneva College is pleased to join with World Vision and Generation Exodus in bringing nationally renowned Christian band Casting Crowns to the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh, PA on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 7 p.m. Casting Crowns, with special guest Matthew West, is coming to Pittsburgh as part of the national Come to the Well Tour.

Through an exclusive offer, a limited amount of tickets are available through Geneva College at the reduced price of $26, including all fees. The tickets are for seats normally priced at $49.95, fees included. All tickets purchased through Geneva will also come with a Geneva wristband.

Casting Crowns is a Grammy- and American Music Award-winning band. The band has also earned 23 Dove Awards, including Artist of the Year in 2010, and has over 5 million career album sales and eight chart-topping radio singles, including "East to West" and "Until the Whole World Hears." Lead singer Mark Hall has 18 years of experience as a youth pastor, and the band′s message remains rooted in student ministry. Hall says, "Our main purpose, above all else, is to know him more."According to the band′s website, their calling is to set discipleship to music and pour their hearts into the students and families that they encounter along the way.

Grammy Nominee Matthew West will be opening for Casting Crowns. He is the artist of several chart-topping songs such as "More," "You Are Everything" and "The Motions," a 14-week number one hit on the radio. Matthew West has written songs for multi-platinum trio Rascall Flatts, Billy Ray Cyrus, Point of Grace, and other Christian and mainstream artists. Overcoming great odds, West recovered from career-threatening vocal cord surgery in 2007.
