mancini_logo_gc.gifThe 19th Annual Geneva College Henry Mancini Musical Theatre Awards will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 7 p.m. in Metheny Fieldhouse. During the Mancinis, the theatrical accomplishments of students from 14 area high schools will be recognized.

"The talent is deep in this part of the country, and we look forward to another excellent season of musical theater," expressed Louise Copeland, professor of music and coordinator for the awards. "Judges give scores to individual performances and to categories such as vocal, dance and costumes. And at the end of April all the scores will be tallied," said Dr. Copeland.

Established in 1994, the Geneva College Henry Mancini Musical Theatre Awards host high school students as they perform and receive awards for their school musical productions.
