nr_adcp_online_m.jpgGeneva College's Adult Degree Completion Program (ADCP), an accelerated undergraduate program for adults who have some college and/or work experience, announces the addition of a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership (BSOL) degree. The first two cohorts for the recently developed program begin October 7, 2013 and January 27, 2014. Applications are now being accepted.

The organizational leadership major is a business-related program that equips students for careers in management, administration and supervision. Students prepare for today′s complex and rapidly changing work environment, focusing on the “people” aspect of companies. They acquire the tools to motivate, mobilize and develop employees, learning how leaders should react to organizational changes and establishing an ethical framework for making workplace decisions.

The ADCP provides students with the opportunity to finish a bachelor′s degree in as little as 17 months. In the fully online programs, students receive a high-quality Geneva College education at their own convenience, with the ability to log in anytime and anywhere to work on their degrees.

“Offering online education is just one more way the ADCP is extending busy adults the opportunity to finish their degree in a Christ-centered program that meets not just close to their homes, but in their homes, and where they work, around the clock,” explained Dr. Ralph Phillips, Assistant Dean for Adult Education.

The ADCP′s other fully online offerings are human resources, which is designed for professionals dealing with real-life issues in the workplace, and Christian ministry leadership, which focuses on developing effective Christian leaders.

Interested students can request information and enroll online at http://online.geneva.edu.

For those who have not completed the minimum number of credits required for the ADCP program, Geneva also offers the Bridge Program, with classes conducted in the classroom, as partially-online or fully online. More information can be found at www.geneva.edu/bridge.

Classroom ADCP majors include human resources; Christian ministry leadership; human services, which prepares students for positions in the human service field; and organizational development, which examines the organizational effectiveness of companies from a structural perspective. Information is available at www.geneva.edu/adcp.
