images.jpgOn Tuesday, June 4 at 10 a.m. in the Benedum Room of Alexander Hall, a reception of light refreshments will be held to recognize the accomplishments of two members of Geneva′s campus community. All faculty, staff and students are welcome to attend as Food Service Director Clayton Cappellanti and Cash Operations Manager Jim Nescot are honored by Pioneer College Caterers.

At Pioneer′s annual Management Seminar, held in Nashville in May, Cappellanti was named the winner of the company′s President′s Award. This is Pioneer′s highest honor, given to a director who demonstrates excellence in food program, client satisfaction, financial controls and program innovation.

Nescot earned Pioneer′s Stewardship Award, which is awarded to the management team member who takes an active role in promoting campus sustainability programs. He is receiving the award for his efforts in the "Geneva Goes Green" program.

Geneva College invites students to accept the challenge of an academically excellent, Christ-centered education. Offering nearly 40 undergraduate majors, an Adult Degree Completion Program with fully online and campus-based options, and seven graduate degrees, Geneva has programs that place students at the forefront of higher learning. Adhering to the inerrancy of scripture, the liberal arts core curriculum fosters a breadth of knowledge through the study of humanities, social and natural sciences, and experiential learning.
