Geneva Men′s Soccer split this week for a 3-2-1 overall record. On Wednesday CMU slid past with a goal less than a minute to play leaving Geneva with a losing 1-0 decision. Saturday was a different story with a 2-0 win over Fredonia. Goals were scored by freshman Nate Musselman and Jonathan Shoaf.

Beaver Falls, PA - The Geneva Men′s Soccer team played at home for a 5 p.m. game against the Fredonia State Blue Devils on Saturday. Finishing the game with a 2-0 decision, Geneva improved their record to 3-2-1.

Geneva and Fredonia battled it out in the midfield for a large portion of the first chunk of time. Nate Musselman′s goal collected from PJ Luksik′s pass gave Geneva the momentum to dominate the rest of the half and have the advantage entering the second. In the 68th minute, Kyle Terrill connected a pass to Jonathan Shoaf who then found the back of the net for the second Golden Tornado goal.

In the action Geneva′s offense took nine total shots. Bryan Butler made four saves after facing seven Blue Devil shots.

The Golden Tornadoes will face Lycoming at 3 p.m. away next Saturday, September 21st.
