Grove City, PA - Geneva traveled into Wolverine territory Monday afternoon to meet Grove City on the courts. Unfortunately, Geneva got bit, falling short in a 6-3 decision. The loss drops Geneva′s overall record to 4-2, 2-2 in conference play.

In doubles the only win was credited to Brittany Kress and Courtney Light 8-1. In the first two rounds of double play Geneva was able to find some momentum but not enough for the win. The first four single matches went to Grove City. Kress found her swing for another win 7-5, 6-2. Megan Hinds took her opponent to a third round Golden Tornado win 5-7, 6-3, 10-1. Despite the scattered Wolverine defeats, Geneva was unable to overcome.

Wednesday Geneva will travel to Washington, PA for a match against the Presidents′ at 4 p.m.
