Latrobe, PA - Forced inside due to rain, the Golden Tornadoes rescheduled their match against St. Vincent and faced the Thomas More Saints at St. Vincent′s indoor courts. Geneva repeated Wednesday′s thrilling path to a 5-4 win over the Saints. With the win, the Golden Tornadoes overall record rises 6-2, 4-2 in conference play.
Brittany Kress and Courtney Light were the only duo able to defeat the Saints in doubles (8-1). Christine Bullock and Julie Kline gave up a good fight taking the score 9-8. In singles, Elizabeth Stewart (6-0, 6-0), Julie Kline (6-3, 6-3), Sam Jensen (6-2, 6-4), Brittany Kress (6-0, 6-1) and Megan Hinds (6-3, 6-0) created the winning combination.
The Golden Tornadoes will host the Bethany Bison on Wednesday at Brady′s Run at 5:30 p.m.
