PAClogo.jpgBeaver Falls, PA - Geneva Volleyball has created quite the winning streak and it only took them one week. Geneva won all four games this week raising their record to 8-2, 4-0 in the PAC. Ashley Davis became an unstoppable offensive force for the Golden Tornadoes, smacking above average kills in every game. Davis′ performance was honored by the Presidents′ Athletic Conference (PAC), selecting her as the Volleyball PAC player of the week.

Davis started the week off at Washington & Jefferson with a .500 hitting percentage, 20 kills in 40 swings. Davis continued three days later at home against Thomas More with 19 kills in 49 swings, giving up only 2 errors. Opening up Saturday's double header, Davis only played one set in the 3-0 win over Waynesburg. In the single set Davis led the offense with 8 kills during her 9 attempts without errors. This one set performance allotted Davis with a .889 attack percentage in the game. Last but not least, Geneva hosted Grove City. Still on fire, Davis hit 15 kills in 44 attempts while giving up a lone error in the four set win. As the week came to a close Davis hit a .401 and averaged 5.2 kills on offense and 2.8 digs per set for Geneva′s defensive game.
