Beaver Falls, PA - The Geneva Women′s Soccer team is having a hard time winning at home. Geneva dropped their second consecutive home match to Franciscan today with a 2-0 final, lowering their record to 3-4.

Franciscan Barons, Byrely Jordan, scored eight minutes into play off a pass from Ashley Ruttencutter. Heidi Mann led the GT′s offense with five shots for a team total of nine. The Barons matched and passed the GT′s effort with 12. In the last five minutes of play, Franciscan′s header was good for their second goal of the night.

With injuries to both Geneva goalkeepers, Kayla Gaines put on the keeper gloves collecting her first four collegiate saves.

The Golden Tornadoes will hit the road for Saturday′s match against Muskingum at noon.
