Grove City, PA - Geneva suffered its second consecutive overtime loss today to the Grove City Wolverines. The 2-1 loss drops Geneva′s overall record to 5-7-2, 1-3 in the Presidents′ Athletic Conference (PAC).

Golden Tornado, Nate Musselman, headed a ball from Steven Lawrence at the 50th minute mark for the first goal of the game. Geneva held the lead for 25 more minutes until a free kick awarded to the Wolverines turned into a tie game goal off the foot of Dale Reese. At the end of the 90 minutes, Geneva entered their second overtime game of the week. Eight minutes into overtime play, Dale Reese scored the game winning goal unassisted. Geneva was able to get 14 shots off during the game but could not match the 24 Grove City shots. In goal, Bryan Butler collected 5 saves for the Golden Tornadoes.

Saturday, Geneva will travel down route 18 to face long time rival, Westminster, for a 1 p.m. game.
