Beaver Falls, PA- An early error Wednesday night was only the beginning of a long game for the Geneva Men′s Soccer team. The 6-0 loss drops the Golden Tornadoes′ record to 4-4-2. The scoring barrage began when a Geneva defender took an unfortunate touch off of John Carroll′s Brian Potocnik′s strike and ended up in the back of his own net. Potocnik would go on to collect two more goals in the 30th and 67th minute.

John Carroll′s Kevin McKamish netted a hat trick on the night scoring at the 39th, 70th and 74th minute. The Golden Tornadoes were able to post four shots, but they were not enough against the Blue Streaks′ 22 hits that peppered Geneva goalkeeper Bryan Butler. John Carroll′s goalkeeper Chris Garbinsky collected two saves and recorded the win.

Geneva will turn their attention onto the Presidents′ Athletic Conference as they open conference play Saturday on College Hill against Thiel at 7:30 p.m.
