Grove City, PA - The Golden Tornadoes won their tenth conference match today at Grove City in three games (25-15, 25-13, 25-20). The win raises their overall to 16-9, 10-2 in the Presidents′ Athletic Conference (PAC).

Golden Tornadoes both young and experienced all found big plays to contribute to the win. Geneva′s Olivia Test and Erin Smith each finished with .625 hitting percentage. Test put down 11 out of 16 swings with only one error and Smith hit for five kills in eight attempts, not giving up any errors. Test and Smith also protected the net; Test blocked four and Smith blocked three. Ashley Davis led the offense with 12 kills and Rachel Netherland found seven kills in the mix. Deanna Briody collected 37 assists and 11 digs in the three games. On defense, Brie Dickson earned 19 digs followed by Davis with 13.

Co-head Coach, Curt Conser, commented, "We served well as team. Some errors crept up in game three but we finished well."

In just two days the Golden Tornadoes will face the Washington and Jefferson College Presidents at home for a 7 p.m. match.
