Huntington, PA - Geneva Volleyball traveled across Pennsylvania today to face Juniata. Unfortunately, their efforts on the court fell short in a 3-0 decision (25-20, 27-25, 25-21) to the Eagles. The loss drops their overall record to 13-7, remaining 7-0 in the Presidents′ Athletic Conference.

The Golden Tornadoes fought hard in all three sets, including taking the Eagles to 27-25 in the second round. In the efforts, Rachel Netherland led the offensive with 14 kills and three serving aces. Other GT offensive included Erin Smith with eight kills and Deanna Briody with 32 assists. Ashley Davis led the defense, collecting 11 digs.

Geneva will rest up quickly tonight and return to the court at home tomorrow for a 7 p.m. match against conference rival St. Vincent College.
