A long ride to Lehigh University for the Paul Short Invite only allowed half of the Cross Country team to compete when intense humidity canceled the Women′s action, but the Men were able to complete their race and finished 36th out of 42 teams.

Bethlehem, PA- Geneva traveled to Lehigh University Saturday for the Paul Short Invite. The intense humidity left the course treacherous so all Women′s action was canceled for the day. Before the conditions worsened the men were able to complete their race and put in their best efforts. The first Golden Tornado to cross the finish line was Jacob Beschner with a time of 30:01 in the 8K. Fellow teammate, Charles Parker, ran a personal best of 30:38 coming in third for Geneva.

Geneva will take some time off until October 19th when they travel to Ohio to take part in the Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble at Oberlin College with an 11 a.m. start for the Men′s and 11:45 a.m. for the Women′s
