wbbWestminster.jpgBeaver Falls, PA- There are few words in the world to describe the all-time rivalry between the Golden Tornadoes in old gold and white and the Westminster Titans in blue. Geneva sits on the low end of the all-time series against record at 30-33.

The last time the two teams met was on Geneva′s hardwood where Geneva suffered a 53-44 loss. Returning starter, Heidi Mann lead the attack with 17 points while Samantha Fisher, also a returning starter, lead rebounds for the GTs with six. All hands will be on deck as Geneva is still seeking its first home game win of the 2013-14 season. Freshman sensation, Nicole Hyland, will take on Westminster for her first time as a Golden Tornado, entering the game averaging 12.6 points and 8.8 rebounds a game.

The Titans look forward to throwing off the 116-49 loss suffered at home on Wednesday night to Thomas More. Giving something for Geneva to fear, Westminster has found six of its seven wins away (Dominican, Hiram, Pitt-Greensburg, Chatham, Bethany and Thiel). Under the direction of Head coach Rosanne Scott (12th year) the Titans hold a positive rebound margin of +0.9 against opponents while scoring an average of 63.7 points a game. Leading the rebounding game are Titans Hannah Shaffer (8.0 rebounds a game) and Courtney Klein (7.0 rebounds a game). Senior Gabby Holko leads Westminster′s offense scoring and average of 14.0 points a game.

Wednesday Geneva will start off the double-header night against the Washington & Jefferson Presidents at home with tip-off at 5:30 p.m.
