The Geneva College Symphonic Band will perform its annual spring concert on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. in the Metheny Fieldhouse on Geneva′s campus.

Under the direction of Mr. Donald Kephart, the 68-member symphonic band will present both traditional and contemporary works by Encanto, Whirlybird, music from Les Misérables, Sky is Waiting, American Barndance, Hymn to the Fallen and others.

"Each year the Geneva Symphonic Band performs both traditional and new compositions to both challenge the performers and provide a great musical experience for the audience," said Kephart. "This year is the 150th anniversary of Arlington National Cemetery, and we will be presenting both music and vocals as a tribute."

The Geneva College Percussion Ensemble will also present a few selections.

The concert is free and open to the public.

More information is available through Geneva′s Music Department: 724-847-6660.
