Grove City rolls over Geneva in 8-1 final

Beaver Falls, PA- The Grove City Wolverines handed Geneva tennis an 8-1 final loss today at Bradys Run courts. The loss brings the Golden Tornadoes overall record to 3-4, 1-3 in the Presidents′ Athletic Conference.

"Grove City is the team to beat this year, so this was definitely a tough match for us. We′ve found a few things to work on before our three match swing next week," said head coach Mandee Craft.

Geneva′s lone set point was by Jen Bullock (Wrentham, MA/King Philip Regional) single set after her opponent retired due to an injury.

Wednesday October 1st Geneva tennis hosts Washington & Jefferson College starting at 4 p.m. at Bradys Run courts.
