Women′s Soccer suffers another one goal loss vs Carlow

Pittsburgh, PA- The Geneva women′s soccer team faced Carlow at Pittsburgh′s Highmark Stadium Saturday afternoon only to suffer another one goal loss; 2-1 final. With the day′s decision, Geneva has already endured three one goal losses in the five games played. The loss lowers its overall record to 1-4.

"We played a better second half but we couldn′t equalize the two goals we gave up in the first half" said head coach Linda Sumner. "We hope to get back to our winning ways this week."

Senior forward Rhetta King (Waynesburg, PA/Open Door Christian) scored Geneva′s lone goal.

Thursday Geneva travels to Franciscan for a 4 p.m. start.
