Each semester, Geneva College students participate in Our Town, a variety of community service projects in the local area. The fall semester Our Town will be held on Saturday, October 4 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

"Our Town is a great opportunity for students to serve our city of Beaver Falls and also to learn about different organizations in our community," said Missy Nyeholt, Director of Geneva′s Center for Faith and Practice (CFP).

Some of the projects and sites for the day include:

  • Beaver Falls Carnegie Library
  • Rails to Trails
  • Providence Care Center
  • Habitat for Humanity ReStore
  • Stray Cat Studio
  • Community Garden
  • Pisgah Program
  • Pine Valley Camp
  • Painting the "G"
  • City clean up

Lunch will be served on campus following the service projects. Students can sign up individually outside of the CFP offices or as a club outside of the Student Development office.
