Greenville, PA – Geneva women’s soccer dropped a 1-0 final decision against Thiel College Friday evening after Thiel struck a goal in the last 55 seconds. The heartbreaker loss lowers Geneva’s overall record to 1-9, 0-1 in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference.

“Considering we have so many out with injuries we had a strong game but couldn’t finish,” said head coach Linda Sumner.

Tomcat Morgan Berg broke through the Golden Tornado defense with .55 seconds left on the clock for the win.

Thursday October 9th Geneva is back at home hosting the Thomas More Saints at 4:30 p.m.
