NEW WILMINGTON, PA – Geneva committed 10 turnovers in the game’s first 10 minutes and never recovered, falling to archrival Westminster 73-56. The host Titans built a lead as big as 17 points in the first half and, although, Geneva cut the lead to 10 by halftime, Westminster stayed in control in the second half.

“We got beaten in every aspect of the game,” said Geneva coach Jeff Santarsiero. “We didn’t give any effort and we’ll have to do some soul searching and start over Monday.”

Geneva was led in scoring and rebounding by freshman Jimmy Leichliter (Connellsville, PA/Connellsville) with 12 points and nine rebounds and junior Ethan Adamczyk (Uniontown, OH/Lake) added 10.

Geneva, now 6-10 and 3-4 will return home to host Waynesburg Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
