Beaver Falls, PA – Inaugural Championship meets are always exciting. They give a picture of the drive that motivates student-athletes to train outdoors with piles of snow to the right and left, lift at extreme hours of the day, sprint in circles around a fieldhouse and examine their technique over and over and over again. Geneva College’s men and women’s indoor track and field teams have waited, trained and waited some more for this season. Tomorrow, Thursday, February 26 Geneva will compete in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference’s (PAC) inaugural indoor Championship meet hosted at the top of the line facilities of Youngstown  State University (YSU).

Field events are scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. with track events to start at 4 p.m.

Trophies will be awarded at the end of the championship along with plaques honoring the day’s most valuable performers and coaches of the year.

The league’s release on the event can be found at http://www.pacathletics.org/news/2015/2/23/MITRACK_0223154427.aspx
