Three beloved professors will say goodbye to Geneva College during the Geneva Reading Series: The Family, a night of poetry, music and prose on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at 7 p.m. in the West Reading Room of McCartney Library.

The end of the spring semester will mark the departure of history and humanities professor Dr. Greg Jones, music professor Dr. Matt Kickasola, and humanities and Bible professor Russ Warren. They will be joined by chair of the engineering department Dr. James Gidley in sharing literary work.

“This is the sendoff, the group-salutation to summer,” says English professor Dr. Dan Williams, the creator and coordinator of the event. “The great end. The great beginning. An evening of unity. A linking of intellectual islands by bridges of tears and laughter. Many denominations will come together. Many disciplines. Many cultures. One night to rule them all.”

Free coffee from the Beaver Falls Coffee & Tea Co., homemade refreshments and ice cream will be offered at the event.
