9 Geneva Track & Field Athletes Advance to ECAC Post-Season

Beaver Falls, PA – As the 2015-16 academic year comes to a close, nine Geneva track & field student-athletes continue to look forward to one more meet. The Golden Tornadoes joined the Eastern College Athletic Conference June 1, 2014 which has allowed Geneva student-athletes to continue into the post-season. Thursday, May 14 eleven Golden Tornadoes, including three local high school athletes from Riverside, New Brighton, and Union, will compete in ECAC Track & Field post-season held at Springfield College.

During the two day meet, the following Golden Tornadoes will represent Geneva College after qualifying for the post-season opportunity with outstanding performances during the regular season:

Josh Guiser (Newell, PA / Frazier): 100 meters / 4x100 relay / 4x400 relay

Ryan White (New Brighton, PA / New Brighton): 4x100 relay / 4x400 relay

Aaron Tedys (Ellwood city, PA / Riverside): 400 meters / 4x100 relay / 4x400 relay

Cameron Unrath (Wexford, PA / Pine Richland): 100 meters / 4x100 relay

Dalton Paxson (Rochester, PA /Rochester): 110 meter high hurdles

Jacob Mellinger (Leetonia, OH / Crestview): 400 meters / 200 meters / 4x400 relay

Jordan Rupert (Greenville, PA / Greenville): Javelin

Jessica Kelosky (Fombell, PA / Riverside): 100 meters

Christina Noble (New Castle, PA / Union): Javelin
