50 Most Affordable Small Colleges for an HR Degree 2015

Human Resources MBA has ranked Geneva College in its list of the top “50 Most Affordable Small Colleges for an HR Degree 2015.” Geneva is ranked 35 in the national list, which is one of the highest rankings for any institution located in Pennsylvania.

This list designates schools with fewer than 3,000 undergraduate students that offer a degree in human resources with tuition under $30,000 a year.

Jamie Weitl, editor for HumanResourcesMBA.net remarks, “I would like to congratulate Geneva College for ranking in the top 25 percent of small schools we surveyed that offered a bachelor’s degree in human resources.”

According to Human Resources MBA staff, the benefits of receiving an HR degree from a small college include, “strong relationships with professors, more individual attention and smaller class sizes.” Geneva offers all of these, as well as a biblically focused program that integrates faith with learning.

Geneva is a small Christian school with 1,700 students and a 13:1 student to faculty ratio. The HR program at Geneva is designed to prepare students for multiple options upon graduation, such as becoming an HR generalist or taking on management duties. Geneva offers a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Human Resources through its Adult Degree Programs.
