Visit Events for Fall Semester

Picture of Visit Events for Fall Semester

The fall semester provides many opportunities for prospective students to visit Geneva College to learn about academics, faith and community. The Admissions office at Geneva hosts many visit days through which high school and transfer students can tour the campus, meet with admissions counselors, visit classrooms, eat at the dining hall, meet current students, talk to faculty and coaches and get to know the Geneva College community.

Many dates have been set aside for campus visits, including general visit days and days more specifically focused toward certain majors or athletic interests.

Visiting campus gives students an opportunity to take a glimpse into what life is like at Geneva College,” says Assistant Director of Admissions Roger Blevins.

Students interested in a general visit should consider coming for one of the Discovery Days occurring during the fall semester. There are seven opportunities during the fall: September 11, 25 and 28; October 9 and 12; and November 13 and 20.

There are also several days designed for exploring specific academic programs. These Major Exploration Days will be held on the following dates:

  • September 28 - Psychology, Human Services, Criminal Justice, Biopsychology, History, Sociology, Political Science, English Literature and Writing
  • October 9 - Elementary and Special Education
  • October 12 - Biblical Studies, Student Ministry, Pre-Seminary, Missions, Philosophy, Accounting, Business Administration and Business Aviation
  • October 30 – Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM)
  • November 13 - Communication and Communication Disorders
