BEAVER FALLS, PA - The Geneva men’s soccer team got three goals from freshmen and three from sophomores as the Golden Tornadoes defeated Franciscan 6-0 at home. The Golden Tornadoes are now 7-3-3 overall and are 3-0-1 in their last four games.

“Franciscan is a much improved team and it’s always good to get a win against a good opponent,” said Geneva coach Gary Dunda. “P.J. (Luksik) did a great job distributing the ball and it was good to get a lot of guys on the scoresheet.

“It was great to see things coming along well.”

Geneva had two goals scored by sophomore Gib McCracken (Beaver Falls/Beaver County Christian School) and two more by freshman Liam O’Halloran (Elyria, OH/Elyria Catholic). Single goals were added by sophomore Abel Carleton (Darlington/Beaver County Christian School) and freshman Nate Ferraco (Pittsburgh/Penn Hills). Senior P.J. Luksik (Johnstown/Bishop McCort) had a pair of assists.

Geneva returns to Presidents’ Athletic Conference action Friday at Waynesburg at 8:30.
