Beaver Falls, PA – The women’s tennis Golden Tornadoes team raised their overall record to 8-3, still 4-3 in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference with an out of conference 7-2 win over LaRoche College Saturday afternoon.

“Another strong win today,” said Head Coach Mandee Craft.

“Sitting at 8-3 is a good feeling, but there’s still work to be done. We finish out our regular season Monday at Washington and Jefferson which will be a big test. Hopefully we can take our play today and keep going.”

Sophomore Sarah Stoll (Norwalk, OH/Norwalk) and junior Megan Hinds (Montrose, PA/Montrose) had solid performances. Stoll won both single sets 6-1 and 6-0 while Hinds won her sets 6-0 and 6-0. Their doubles play was equally as impressive with an 8-4 victory.

Geneva travels to W&J to continue their conference play on Monday October 12 at 6:30 p.m.
