Geneva Men’s Basketball Predicted 4th in PAC Men's Basketball Preseason Coaches' Poll

Beaver Falls, PA- The Geneva men’s basketball Golden Tornadoes were pegged to finish fourth in the 2015-16 Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) Preseason Coaches’ Poll. The Golden Tornadoes finished sixth in the league last season; 10-16 overall, 7-9 in the PAC.

Three Golden Tornadoes were listed as players to watch as the 15-16 basketball season is set to begin in nine days; Ethan Adamczyk (Uniontown, OH/Lake), Jimmy Leichliter (Connellsville, PA/Connellsville) and Chaese Vaudrin (Uniontown, OH/Lake).

Adamczyk finished his junior campaign as the third highest scorer in the conference, averaging 17.5 points per game.

Leichliter opened his Golden Tornadoes career finishing second in the PAC in three-pointers made per game He finished the season averaging 10.3 points per game with 59 three-pointers..

Vaudrin recorded 101 assists in his second year as Geneva’s starting point guard, the second highest in the conference. In addition, he contributed 8.4 points per game.

Geneva opens the 2015-16 season on the road at Hilbert, Saturday, November 14. Tip-off is scheduled at 2 p.m.

Tuesday, November 17 at 7:30 p.m. Geneva will host Carnegie Mellon University in its’ season home opener.
