Madison, NJ – Geneva women’s soccer opened up ECAC quarterfinal action against Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Florham campus with a goal less than a minute into play. Unfortunately, the lone goal couldn’t keep the lead as the FDU-Florham Devils defeated the Golden Tornadoes 4-1.
Geneva’s senior midfielder Heidi Mann (Colorado Springs, CO/Evangelical Christian Academy) scored her 13th goal of the season 0:49 seconds into the game. Mann finished her career at Geneva with 43 total goals and 21 assists.
The early goal wouldn’t hold the lead as the Devils netted three goals before halftime and secured the win with a fourth goal in the second half.
Geneva finished the 2015 season with an overall record of 9-8, 5-4 in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference, finishing fifth.
