The Wednesday, December 9, 2015 episode of WORLD Radio’s The World and Everything in It has been posted to Geneva College’s website at http://www.geneva.edu/faith/the-world. The midweek edition of the show features a look into Donald Trump’s controversial statement about Muslims as well as a look into a North Carolina live nativity scene. The show ends with a devotional about the thing that God pays the most attention.

In today’s top news, police are investigating a potential money trail in connection with the San Bernardino terrorist attack. The gunman’s bank account had a large amount of money put into it in the week before the attack by a web bank based in Salt Lake City. The investigation hopes to uncover any co-conspirators.

ISIS has been implicated in over nineteen terrorist attacks in the United States, calling refugees into question. A report recently surfaced stating that ISIS had infiltrated the stream of refugees coming into the country. The report was denied, with officials saying that these immigrants undergo the most intensive background checks possible.

Norway is responding to the refugee crisis in a different way. The country is giving refugees free air fare and $9,300 to help them reestablish themselves in their home countries. Over 900 people have applied for this offer.

In the White House Wednesday portion of the show, WORLD analyzes Donald Trump’s assertion that the United States should stop allowing Muslims into the country. GOP and democratic candidates all blasted the comments.

The Hillary Clinton campaign is reportedly preparing for 3 GOP candidates; Donald Trump, Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz. Rubio is said to be the candidate that is most feared by the Democrats. Rubio, however, is most afraid of the rise of Ted Cruz.

WORLD highlights a live nativity scene at the Billy Graham Library in Charlotte North Carolina. The scene features live actors and various exotic animals. The goal of a live scene is to remind children that the nativity is real, and not just a story.

Andree Seu Peterson leads a devotional on the things in the world to which God pays attention. She makes a special highlight of the small, seemingly forgotten things that go unnoticed by most.
