Beaver Falls, PA – Chaese Vaudrin (Uniontown, OH/Lake) made back to back free throws to cut St. Vicnent’s lead to one (50-49) with 10:52 left but the Golden Tornadoes could get no closer as Geneva lost to the Bearcats, 78-67. The loss drops Geneva’s record to 0-6 overall, 0-2 in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference.

“I am proud of the way we played,” said head coach Jeff Santarsiero. “We battled St. Vincent better than we have in the past couple years.”

Jimmy Leichliter (Connellsville, PA/ Connellsville) added eight points and led the team with nine rebounds.
