Beaver Falls, PA – Geneva dropped an 88-47 decision at home to Thomas More Wednesday night. The loss gives Geneva a 3-19 overall record, 3-12 in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference.

The now, 13-9, 10-5 PAC, Thomas More Saints held Geneva at 16 points from the 12th to the fifth minute of the first half while shooting 65% from the field, 57% from beyond the arc.

“It was a disappointing loss for us,” said head coach Jeff Santarsiero. “Our effort just wasn’t there, which, I wasn’t able to say for many weeks now. We didn’t battle like we did on Saturday.”

“Thomas More is a three-point team and we gave them their shots and they don’t miss.”

Ethan Adamczyk (Uniontown, OH/ Lake) scored team-high 25 points.

Off the glass, Jimmy Leichliter (Connellsville, PA/ Connellsville) earned six rebounds.

“Now we get ready to work for Saturday’s game,” said Santarsiero.

Geneva will honor its three seniors Ethan Adamczyk, Jordan Lawrence (Columbia, MD/Chapelgate), Zack Stitt (Oakmont, PA/Riverview) and graduating team manager Colby Boozer on Saturday at 7:15 p.m. before facing the Chatham Cougars.
