The Geneva men’s tennis team was swept today in all 9 matches against conference opponent Bethany College. The loss lowers Geneva to a 1-7 overall record, being 1-5 in President’s Athletic Conference play.

“Bethany's a tough team all the way down,” said head coach Mande Craft. “We had some chances but just couldn't get it done today. Now we have a quick turnaround and need to be ready to go tomorrow.”

Junior Ethan Shaw (Enon Valley, PA / Homeschool) has had a strong season for Geneva this season, but he was not able to win either his doubles match losing 2-8 or his singles game losing the two sets 3-6, 3-6 respectively.

The Golden Tornadoes will have to come back strong as they head back out to the courts tomorrow Thursday, April 14 to host the Thiel Tomcats at Blackhawk High school.
