Beaver Falls, PA – Geneva hosted the Grove City Wolverines, 2015 Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) Champions, on Thursday, September 15. Grove City defeated the Golden Tornadoes 8-1 lowering Geneva’s overall record to 4-2, 1-2 in the PAC.

Freshmen Grace Moyer (Virginia Beach, VA/Landstown) earned Geneva a point in fourth singles with a 6-4, 6-4 decision.

“Grove City is always such a tough team to beat,” said head coach Mandee Craft. “Grace’s win today was the only one we could pull out but it wasn’t for lack of effort.”

Geneva’s efforts took the match indoors due to lack of daylight.

The Golden Tornadoes will be at Muskingum on Wednesday, September 21 at 3 p.m.
